Hello! I’m Lara.

Even as a child, I wanted to grow up to be someone who could positively influence others. During college, I volunteered as a youth helper for my school’s Duke of Edinburgh programme and as a coach for my triathlon and swimming club, where I completed a Level 1 course in teaching swimming. I later qualified as a Level 2 swim teacher and taught full-time for a year in NW London teaching babies, children and adults. I found such joy in helping others progress with such a challenging skill.

I moved to London in 2012 to study a BA in Musical Theatre and graduated with a 1st class honours degree. During the duration of the course I did some voluntary work in a weekend stage school for young children and I loved how children could learn to express themselves through this environment.

With my creative and sporty background, I have learnt that hard work, perseverance and team work play an enormous part in success. My experience in teaching and coaching has shown me what skills are needed to be a positive influencer and great teacher.

I will always strive to create and maintain positive working relationships with all my clients, as we work towards finding the right school and position for you. I am so happy to be working with The Supply Room, as I now have the opportunity to help great people reach their full potential in education.
