Hello! I’m Joe.
I studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester before going on to complete my teacher training in an inner city London School.
My career in the classroom began working as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting a boy with ADHD and challenging behaviour. The experience helped me gain a place on the School Direct Teacher Training Programme, during which I completed two placements at schools in Central London.
After completing my course and gaining qualified teacher status I decided I wanted to try working in different schools and try my hand at supply teaching. The agency I registered with felt I had the skills needed to be a successful consultant and the rest, as they say, is history.
I have previously been a senior consultant working with schools across both primary and secondary sectors, before going on to manage a large successful branch within Central London.
As a former teacher and teaching assistant, I understand the challenges experienced by my staff and I endeavour to help and support them in any way I can. I understand the needs of schools and the way in which they work which I hope enables me to provide a quick, honest and reliable service. I am determined to go that extra mile for my teachers and my schools and it is this that makes The Supply Room stand out from the crowd.
