Hello! I’m Camilla.
I first joined The Supply Room as a Teaching Assistant after travelling South America on a volunteer programme, teaching underprivileged children to speak English and express their feelings through art and play.
After completing my placement I decided to join the internal team and recruit staff for schools in the London Borough of Croydon, the borough I was raised in. Knowing the area has given me insight into the marketplace as both a recruiter and a job seeker.
It took me a while to hone in on my own skillset and discover the right career path; which is why I know and understand first-hand how important it is to have a recruitment consultant on your side that recognises your specific needs.
I believe that each and every single one of my experiences has led me to a place to which I now understand precisely the calibre of candidate required for my client schools, in-turn equpping me to prepare teachers and support staff looking to take their first steps into a role within the primary school sector.
Candidate satisfaction is an absolute number one priority for me, having worn both hats, I wholeheartedly recognise that a happy candidate, with excellent career prospects and growth in their role will result in excellent job satification.
