Called the agency looking for a new working start. I was quickly put in touch with Poppy and she explained how they could support me in that. I am now working for the first time in a primary school as a 1-2-1 just as I always dreamed of doing. I have been with The Supply Room for two years. It has been great. I was open at my initial face-to-face meeting ( with Carla Botha who has now left ) that I had a history of depression when asked about some gaps on my cv, I thought I may not be therefore booked. This was not the case, I have been treated with no mental health discrimination even when I’ve been ill. I really appreciate that. I met Brandon Alborough and Lara Tipper face to face too in February last year when I came into the office without! an appointment ( I really appreciated their time and patience meeting with me as after being ill I felt to see them face-to-face ). I’m grateful Brandon remembered and acted on my requests of the boroughs I wanted to work in and the type of school I wanted to work in too. I know Lara Tipper has moved from TSR Fleet Street but like Carla, if there is a way to share this feedback to them I will be grateful.

Last year Ariana Malaj was my agent for a school I loved working at. The day ( the day before the last! day of the summer term ) Ariana told me they would not book me for the new academic year, she did so most sensitively, I really!!!! appreciated that as I did not get to say proper goodbyes and we were like a family in the primary department.

Xavier Phoenix is my current agent and has been great too. Again regarding health, I once was ill and had to leave work after two and a half hours. The next day, I wasn’t sure if I could make it ( it was my first few weeks at the school I’m currently at ). Xavier encouraged me to try and return home if I couldn’t, this was extremely helpful and I was fine to get through the day…

I write this lengthy review on purpose to emphasize the kindness, support, encouragement and more I have experienced at TSR.

Incredibly useful at finding me a place, they meet with you and get to know all of your qualifications and preferences before letting you know about any opportunities you might be interested in straight away, both jobs and training courses. I had Amber as my agent who was very clear about the process and always fast to respond, felt really easy to get fully qualified to be in a school. Only took about a month from joining to finding a job I like, would definitely reccomend to someone looking to work in education.

Great agency, my consultant Maddie is wonderful. I've had a very quick reply from her after submitting my CV. We had a face to face appointment to discuss what I was looking for and what agency had to offer. She created my profile and contacted the school to organize an interview with them. I have just moved from Kent and was searching for a job with SEN schools within my new area, I have had Maddie helping and supporting me with this, she was very understanding with my situation, she made sure that things could be arraigned around my circumstance and made sure I was up to date and aware of everything that was happening. I have been able to send maddie emails, with quick responses, she often called me to check how I was and to give me information. I had a meeting with maddie and told her what my ambitions were, and she has made that possible, I am currently working at the SEN school that I chose with maddie and have been offered future commitments there, however this was all down to maddie, she was in constant contact with the school, chasing them up with things and making sure they knew everything about me that they needed too. I would 100% recommend the supply room to anybody looking for something similar, and if not, I’m sure maddie will be able to support you with what you’re looking for.
