Absolute sham of a place. A lady I know applied for work, Jess put her through the process of getting a DBS check which she paid for, her CV was handed in and she told them of her non experience within assisting in a school, obviously Jess didn't look at this properly. She was given a TA position in a school as a trial and thrived, the school even complimented her. She was at a low point before this job and this really boosted her, only for The Supply Room to then say sorry but your GCSE's from school were a bit to low for her to work in a school. Firstly Jess, why not check this at the beginning instead of raising her hopes and then knocking her down and making her feel worthless. Secondly, surely it's professionly wrong to do it this way and belittle someone by basically saying, no, you are not good enough. You need to sort your company out as it has an affect on mental health treating people this was.

I signed up with the Supply Room earlier this year I come from a background of being a foster carer. The process with them was easy and the team were really helpful. As soon as everything was sorted I was very pleasantly surprised how quick the offers of work came up. The team were always at the end of the phone with any queries I had. A young lady called Maddie was my usual point of contact she was amazing and all of the other staff were brilliant. Unfortunately a big back problem has halted me working but as soon as I’ve had the op il be back working with them.

Called the agency looking for a new working start. I was quickly put in touch with Poppy and she explained how they could support me in that. I am now working for the first time in a primary school as a 1-2-1 just as I always dreamed of doing. When I was injured both the school Poppy had supported placing me in and herself was quick to help me and provided support. I have been with The Supply Room for two years. It has been great. I was open at my initial face-to-face meeting ( with Carla Botha who has now left ) that I had a history of depression when asked about some gaps on my cv, I thought I may not be therefore booked. This was not the case, I have been treated with no mental health discrimination even when I’ve been ill. I really appreciate that. I met Brandon Alborough and Lara Tipper face to face too in February last year when I came into the office without! an appointment ( I really appreciated their time and patience meeting with me as after being ill I felt to see them face-to-face ). I’m grateful Brandon remembered and acted on my requests of the boroughs I wanted to work in and the type of school I wanted to work in too. I know Lara Tipper has moved from TSR Fleet Street but like Carla, if there is a way to share this feedback to them I will be grateful.

Last year Ariana Malaj was my agent for a school I loved working at. The day ( the day before the last! day of the summer term ) Ariana told me they would not book me for the new academic year, she did so most sensitively, I really!!!! appreciated that as I did not get to say proper goodbyes and we were like a family in the primary department.

Xavier Phoenix is my current agent and has been great too. Again regarding health, I once was ill and had to leave work after two and a half hours. The next day, I wasn’t sure if I could make it ( it was my first few weeks at the school I’m currently at ). Xavier encouraged me to try and return home if I couldn’t, this was extremely helpful and I was fine to get through the day…

I write this lengthy review on purpose to emphasize the kindness, support, encouragement and more I have experienced at TSR.

Incredibly useful at finding me a place, they meet with you and get to know all of your qualifications and preferences before letting you know about any opportunities you might be interested in straight away, both jobs and training courses. I had Amber as my agent who was very clear about the process and always fast to respond, felt really easy to get fully qualified to be in a school. Only took about a month from joining to finding a job I like, would definitely reccomend to someone looking to work in education.

Great agency, my consultant Maddie is wonderful. I've had a very quick reply from her after submitting my CV. We had a face to face appointment to discuss what I was looking for and what agency had to offer. She created my profile and contacted the school to organize an interview with them. I have just moved from Kent and was searching for a job with SEN schools within my new area, I have had Maddie helping and supporting me with this, she was very understanding with my situation, she made sure that things could be arraigned around my circumstance and made sure I was up to date and aware of everything that was happening. I have been able to send maddie emails, with quick responses, she often called me to check how I was and to give me information. I had a meeting with maddie and told her what my ambitions were, and she has made that possible, I am currently working at the SEN school that I chose with maddie and have been offered future commitments there, however this was all down to maddie, she was in constant contact with the school, chasing them up with things and making sure they knew everything about me that they needed too. I would 100% recommend the supply room to anybody looking for something similar, and if not, I’m sure maddie will be able to support you with what you’re looking for. I would like to finish this by thanking the supply room and their team for the support but in particular maddie, you were amazing.

He has helped me with getting a full time position within a school after working with him for over a year. He makes sure that you are given the right school that suits you. He also has been there to support me when I had difficulties in my personal life as well, helping through hard times and always listens, never judged and have always tried to help me whenever I needed it. He definitely deserves recognition and I highly recommend this company. Well done supply room for being so great. Couldn’t recommend this company enough! I had multiple trial days in educational settings organised within a matter of days of being approached by them, and have now got a permanent position in one of them. Jordan has been amazing in helping me with any questions or queries I have had as well as sorting out the position for me! He is super friendly and was helpful throughout my experience with the Supply Room. I would 100% recommend them to anyone searching for a position in a school that would suit them. I was always responded to quickly and felt they were an outstandingly professional service.

I cannot recommend this company enough! I've been able to start a career in something I’d wanted to do for a long time with the confidence in knowing that I had constant support, guidance and advice every step of the way. My consultant Poppy is an absolute credit to the company. Poppy is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and always happy to help.

I have found my time with the supply room to be a very happy and easy experience! My particular agent, Jordan Bates, has been phenomenal! He has helped me in every which way that he can and has always been incredibly pragmatic, quick with responses and helpful to the nth degree.
